“I suppose I could have stayed home and baked cookies and had teas…”
– Hillary Clinton Nightline (26 March 1992)
This is Hillary Clinton’s impression of what it means to be a homemaker. Now, this influential woman is running for president, purporting to speak for you, the American woman. Does she speak for you? No? Are you sure?
Feminism has tightened its evil grip on the psyche of practically every American since the 1960s. Yet, its influence on American women has been profound.
On and on the lies continue, chipping away…no…blowing away huge gaps in our historic Christian doctrine that has been passed down to us from our mothers and grandmothers. It has become so bad, that now those precious women, our mothers and grandmothers, who once gave us godly counsel, now spout the same feminist dogma that they’ve heard over and over again from the establishment media.
Is there any help in sight? Do we hear any words of warning about the evil of feminism from the pulpits of our land? Sadly, the church is largely silent on this critically important topic.
The truth is that women are “just as good as men.” We are all created equal in personal value and worth. Yet God, in His wisdom, has given us, as women, special roles to fulfill.
Only women can be mothers. A man can never be a mother. A mother’s desire to nourish and comfort her children is a God given attribute that should be encouraged, not squashed, as our media establishment would have us to believe.
Women were created by God to be helpers to men. This is an instinct that can not be suppressed. Even very successful feminists still rise to prominence by serving the men in their “inner circle.”
Although feminism flexed it muscle strong during the 1960’s, its roots go way, way back. The desire to blur the lines between the roles God has given women and men date back to the Garden of Eden. Eve’s sin was that of feminism. She “led” Adam by making the decision herself to eat of the forbidden fruit.
Feminism continued to rear its ugly head throughout the ages. Its injustices were opposed loudly by the Reformers. John Knox battled the feminism of his day in his famous work, The First Blast of the Trumpet Against the Monstrous Regiment of Women.
Who is the “John Knox” of our day? Another Scot, who is a kindred spirit to Knox, has risen to the occasion. Colin Gunn of Gunn Productions is sounding the modern day “Blast of the Trumpet” against a modern “Monstrous Regiment of Women.” He has assembled an all star cast of godly ladies who do represent the view of Christian femininity. You will receive the equivalent of 12 lifetimes of information and experience that you can use to defend femininity and blast the monstrous regiment of feminism from our land.
Dr. Sharon Adams teaches you her vast knowledge on the subject of John Knox. It’s very important to learn Knox’s history, and the history that women made in the Reformation. (Play Clip) The battles that he fought in the 16th century continue to be waged today against a whole new breed of feminism. Dr. Adams holds a doctorate in Scottish history from Edinburgh University and is currently a post-doctorate fellow there. Let her impart into you the years of study she has invested in the topic.
Jennie Chancey is a stay at home, homeschooling mother of seven children. She runs her own pattern business called Sense and Sensibility. She is also a freelance costume designer for Simplicity pattern company. Mrs. Chancey is a treasure trove of information. She hosts the Christian website, Ladies Against Feminism (http://www.ladiesagainstfeminism.com). Jenny engages you in heart felt discussion surrounding many myths that feminism has wrought against an unsuspecting public (Play Clip). Having once been a self proclaimed “Christian feminist,” Jennie has seen the error of her ways and now works to prevent other women from being led astray down that same path.
You will also get a peek inside the heart and mind of 'Alisha Blaine' a female former military cadet. Speaking on condition of anonymity, she shares tales that make your hair stand on end. Some of the ways young women are treated in our military are almost unbelievable. However, our anonymous friend confirms it to us with amazing detail. (Play Clip) You will be shocked, outraged, and appalled at what you hear in this riveting segment that exposes the rampant push toward androgyny in our armed forces.
Carol Everett pulls you into her story very quickly as she shares her sordid tale of achieving “millionaire” status at the expense of the lives of unborn children and teenage girls. You see, in 1973 Carol had an abortion herself. The experience scarred her so deeply, that the only recourse she could formulate was to immerse herself in the abortion industry. (Play Clip) She became an abortionist and began a crusade to insure that all girls would have 5-8 abortions between the ages of 13-18. Carol shares with you the diabolical plans that she and her cohorts in the abortion industry made for these innocent young girls. While I won’t spoil the ending for you, let’s just say that God had other plans for Carol. Today, Carol is an outspoken advocate for life and has helped countless women in unplanned pregnancies. You don’t want to miss hearing about her “Damascus Road” conversion.
Do you feel that our culture has lied to you about what it really means to be a woman? Dana Feliciano certainly does. She was fed a pack of lies by her culture. While studying to be a doctor, Dana found herself pregnant. In this interview, Dana speaks directly to your heart as she describes how she was told that her baby was just a “blob of tissue” and was encouraged to “get rid of it” through abortion. (Play Clip) You’ll cry right along with her as she describes the horror of viewing what her baby would have looked like as she sat in one of her medical classes in college. With her eyes wide open now, she goes on to describe the myriad of other lies that feminism told her…and every other American woman. After hearing her interview, you’ll never again swallow the lies of our culture without alarms going off in your head warning you of the errors “they” are spewing forth.
Carmon Friedrich is a mother of ten children and a voracious reader. You’ll find yourself screaming, “Sign me up!” as she describes the qualities of ladies whom she describes as “Prairie Muffins.” Carmon is the author of “The Prairie Muffin Manifesto,” which is simply a list of guidelines on what it means to be a godly, feminine lady. (Play Clip) When she’s not actively reading one of her 8,000 books she has in her library, or running her online bookstore at www.buriedtreasurebooks.com, she’s busy teaching younger women the precepts laid out in Titus, chapter 2. Be one of those ladies blessed to learn the wisdom Carmon has to offer in this captivating interview.
F. Carolyn Graglia is a living testimony that feminism is lying to American women. Feminists claim that women can only become lawyers due to the advances they have made in the spread of feminism. Mrs. Graglia has proven them wrong, earning her law degree from Columbia Law School. She entered college the year after World War II ended, well before the extreme feminism of the 1960s. In the middle of her rising career, she left her law practice in order to tend to more important matters, the raising of her three children. (Play Clip) She never regretted her decision. Mrs. Graglia, in this interview, shares with you many of the insights from her 1998 book entitled, “Domestic Tranquility: A Brief Against Feminism.” Whether you are a working woman, or a full time homemaker, Mrs. Graglia has been there too. She will share with you not only the problems of feminism, but will offer you solid solutions as well.
Rosalind Marshall is a native Scot who has written twenty books and biographies on Scottish royalty. Dr. Marshall holds a Ph.D from Edinburgh University, which she earned with an award-winning thesis on Scottish history. Dr. Marshall shares with you, in this very informative interview, her extensive knowledge of John Knox. You’ll hear a side of John Knox that you’ve not heard before. You’ll learn from Dr. Marshall how Knox was admired by the women of his day. Contrary to the stern, mean image portrayed by history books, (undoubtedly fostered by feminist historians) you’ll see a John Knox who cared deeply about his congregation. (Play Clip). You’ll listen to the story of the man behind the image whose convictions were rooted directly in the Word of God. You’ll hear of a humble man who never consented to have his portrait painted during his lifetime. Finally, you’ll learn of the final resting place of this great man of God, underneath parking lot 23.
Pour yourself a cup of hot tea and sit down across from Stacy McDonald as she shares with you, in very conversational style just what it means to be a feminine, Christian lady. Stacy is married to James, the senior pastor at a Presbyterian church in Illinois. Stacy certainly knows her material. She is a homeschooling mother of ten children. She frequently teaches the arts of Christian hospitality, etiquette, and homemaking to other women. She’s waiting anxiously to share with you the insights she has documented in her popular book, “Raising Maidens of Virtue.” Stacy’s common sense approach to issues such as modesty, contentedness, and biblical beauty will warm your heart. (Play Clip) After listening to Stacy, you’ll feel like you’ve just met a good friend and a sister who knows the issues you are facing.
Nothing strikes fear in the heart of every feminist more than the mere mention of the name: Phyllis Schlafly. Mrs. Schlafly is an articulate writer and speaker. Since 1964, she has written over twenty books on topics ranging from family to foreign policy to nuclear strategy. Phyllis Schlafly was instrumental in defeating the Equal Rights Amendment, which threatened our country throughout the 1970s and into the early 1980s. (Play Clip) Now, this very intelligent lady, and president of Eagle Forum, stands ready to speak directly to you through her interview for Monstrous Regiment. Sit under the wisdom of a stay-at-home mother of six, and a godly grandmother of 14. You’ll hear her expound on the attitude of victimization frequently claimed by modern feminists. Mrs. Schlafly shares with you first hand, the fruit of the sexual revolution. You’ll be really glad that you’re on the “same side” as Mrs. Schlafly. For even today, she regularly travels across the country speaking and debating at colleges, more often than any other conservative. She knows her subject well. She stands ready to teach all who will listen.
Denise Sproul is the wife of R.C. Sproul Jr. Mrs. Sproul loves her life. She loves being a wife and mother. You can tell from listening to her that her greatest joy in life is in serving her family. While Denise is content to serve her family in the background as her husband leads the Highlands Study Center in Bristol, Virginia, she realizes the temptations that even homeschool mothers face with feminism’s subtle draw. Denise shares with you, like a good friend would, cautions that we as women must take in order to protect ourselves from the hold feminism tries to take on our lives. Ladies, are you working to make a name for yourself? Do you have a large internet following? Are you tempted to show off your spiritual prowess in your blog? (Play Clip) Mrs. Sproul gives us a gentle reminder that we are to be feminine and Christ-like. We should be careful not to set ourselves up as a grand teacher of biblical doctrine. Denise graciously reminds us of the roles God intended for His daughters. In this wonderful interview, Denise Sproul will speak to you, give you a hug, and encourage you in being the wife and mother God has called you to be.
In 1990 Kathleen Smith was a devoted student at Perkins Theological Seminary, working to earn her Master of Divinity degree. Today, she is a devoted wife and mother of five children at home in northeastern Texas. In this interview Mrs. Smith shares with us the events leading up to her and her husband’s transition to Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She relates how she was pressured into studying for the ministry, even encouraged to fill a pastor’s role. (Play Clip) Their two children were enrolled in daycare, Kathleen took a campus job editing a law journal, and their family quickly began to disintegrate. It didn’t take long for Kathleen and her husband Robert to realize that something was terribly wrong. How could it be right to study for ministry and lose your family at the same time? Kathleen quickly began to realize that when women violate the roles that God has intended for them, the consequences can be tragic. In this touching interview Kathleen tells how they began to mend the damage they did to their family. She shares that the reforms they made directly contributed to the births of their three additional children. If you’ve ever wondered about head coverings and their place in modern society, Mrs. Smith addresses that too. She views it as a visible statement that she is in submission to her husband and her God. It has been a powerful witness as she wears it in public. You’ll find that she makes a lot of sense, and you may just decide to take her advice yourself.
